Kick the Habit - World Environment Day 2008 Focus on Fostering Low-Carbon Economies

World Environment Day was established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. Another resolution, adopted by the General Assembly the same day, led to the creation of UNEP.

WED is commemorated each year on 5 June in a different city. It is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action.

As an international professional consulting firm, MastersWise, will celebrate WED 2008 with a tree planting and bicycles parades in Shanghai and Australia.

Thumbs up for Beijing and the Olympic Games 2008!

After the handover ceremony in the stadium, the Olympic Flame arrived in Beijing on March 31, 2008. In Beijing, a ceremony was held for the arrival of the flame into China and Beijing 2008 Olympic torch relay will commence. The plane carrying the Beijing Olympics flame landed in Canberra Wednesday morning for Thursday's torch relay through the heart of the city on April 23, 2008. One of our colleagues, Ben and Ricky, who base in Adelaide Office, came to join the group that overseas Chinese students & immigrants gather to wait for the arrival of the Olympic torch during the torch relay in Canberra. TWe are looking forward to meeting you in peace and harmony！
